RFIP Ltd at the HID Global Partner Summit!
Last week, RFIP Ltd participated at the HID Global Partner Summit in the UK.
We were part of an international group of companies getting together in London, alongside Google, Siemens, Impinj and NXP Semiconductors to name but a few. 43 companies from 20 different countries met up to learn about the latest HID developments, geek out over the expanding identification and sensing device ecosystem, share success stories and
network with industry peers.
RFIP Ltd CEO David Armstrong spoke at the summit about the recent successful completion of several projects that involved close collaboration between RFIP Ltd and HID Global.
We are particularly proud of the recent successful completion of a large scale customised tag deployment for one of the UK’s biggest utility companies. This challenging project demanded harmonised tag customization – including programming and external printing – of three different UHF tags attaching to three different types of assets. The production time frame was extremely tight. From signing off the tag specification to the final delivery there were less than two months in which over 100000 tags needed to undergo customisation. Customisation included: the EPC encoding with customer defined 24 digits decimal sequential code, permalocking of EPC memory after programming, password protection of user memory, and laser marking or printing of customer logo and barcode 128 matching the code programmed in the EPC memory.
The summit was a huge success. We at RFIP Ltd enjoyed the opportunity to present some of our projects and to meet industry peers from around the globe.
